Rockstar Games is pleased to release the first patch for Grand Theft Auto V on PC. The first patch addresses numerous gameplay fixes and improvements, including:- Fixes to player's character getting stuck when in a vehicle under a building in the tutorial mission. - Fixes to players spawning under the map in specific circumstances when entering a vehicle. - Fixes to "ghost" mission players being able to accept missions without any delay if they are close enough to them in open world. - Fix for saving files when multiple save files are present on the same memory card. - Fixes to players' scores being reset if they go idle before playing a mission. - Fix for the clock still moving forward if the player has died and is watching a cutscene. - Reduced incidence of vehicles growing legs during missions and becoming difficult to control (particularly helicopters) – we are aware that this is still occurring in some instances and we will continue to work on reducing it even further in future updates. - Fix for the blue arrow used to guide the player into their parking spot not appearing in some garages at the safehouse. - Fix for players getting stuck when firing a gun while interacting with an NPC (playing a minigame, etc.) during story mission Cutscenes. - Fix for some interactions with NPCs not being available while the player is in cover. - Improvements to the targeting system and lock on function for vehicles. - Improved vehicle explosion behaviour and damage detection. - Fix for players warping slightly when shifting gears in vehicles. - Improvements to how AI respond to bullets (no longer get stuck and just stare at player). - Improvements to pedestrian reactions and surviving more small arms fire before reacting. - Fix for store clerks reacting aggressively while holding a gun after they’ve been shot at by another NPC. - Fix for an issue where drunk pedestrians would re-appear when riding a cab or train. - Fix for the camera moving down when getting into a vehicle after using the camera in first person mode. - Improvements to how vehicles are spawned in traffic - vehicles are more likely to appear in groups. - More accurate speedometer while driving vehicles. - Improvements to the way vehicles are spawned in traffic - vehicles are less likely to suddenly appear in front of you, and also less likely to spawn directly adjacent to you. - Improved vehicle collision detection so that cars will not suddenly smash together as often, and generally be more inclined to miss each other, even at high speeds. - Various tweaks to vehicles to improve handling and performance. - Improved pedestrian behaviour in traffic. - Fixed an issue where the player's car would sometimes disappear when finishing a mission while driving. - Fix for an exploit that allowed players to shoot without aiming in certain circumstances. - Improvements to the accuracy of thrown projectiles from vehicles, particularly grenades. - Improved AI vehicle behaviour when exiting and entering vehicles. - Changes to make running more comfortable for players by fixing issues such as foot slipping off pedals and leaning too far forward or backward in vehicles. eccc085e13
